Enabling what matters to you
Director of Clinical Services
At Sovereign Community Nursing, we believe in the profound, multifaceted impact nurses have on individuals and communities. Our approach is deeply rooted in recognising that nurses are not just healthcare providers; they are caregivers, advocates, and problem solvers.
We are specialists in community nursing, focused on service provision by experienced specialised nurses and fostering a collegial, multidisciplinary approach to ensure consistent, industry-leading quality care.
Our services and products are designed to streamline clinical services, removing administrative burdens and providing a clear roadmap for improving outcomes. When nurses have the space, responsibility, and backing they need, they can fully utilise their knowledge and expertise to solve complex problems. We empower our nurses to be problem solvers, not just compliance enforcers.
We partner with and advise a diverse range of providers and businesses to share our industry insights and specialised nursing expertise. Whether working directly with our Private Care Services, or receiving advice or training via our consultancy services – everything we do is designed to enable the highest standard of care and deliver dignity to every individual.
Sincerely,
Julie Cheney

At Sovereign Community Nursing, our goal is to redefine and elevate the standard of care provision within the caregiving industry. We are committed to treating every client with dignity and respect through quality, personalised care.
We specialise in Community Nursing and work with patients, carers and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive, personalised in-home care. We use a collegial approach to share knowledge, support decision making and ensure an industry-leading quality of care. Clients have direct access to treating nurses for meaningful advice and care, and quick solutions for daily issues.
Our specialised nurses have a minimum of 5 years experience across a broad spectrum of health care. They are autonomous in their ability to serve complex cases and make informed decisions. In addition, our nurses can provide coordinator support for clinical and lifestyle outcomes.
We believe in a holistic approach beyond care provision, enabling clients to live longer, more meaningful lives. Sovereign’s person-centred services are tailored to individual needs, including complex health cases. This approach also enables family members to support their loved ones at a higher standard of living.
Sovereign provides care 7 days a week and on public holidays. We aim to see 90% of clients within 72 hours of their chosen time, with a minimum of 3 days’ notice – exceeding the industry standard 2 week wait time.
We utilise technology for patient monitoring and charting, enabling data-driven, meaningful nursing advice. Our nurses have access to patient history and data, ensuring a clearer understanding of the client’s needs, simplifying follow-ups and enabling proactive issue management.
We integrate detailed reporting to ensure continuity of care and to support clinical governance decisions. With a clear, documented view of every case and our proactive risk mitigation approach, we ensure peace of mind in the quality and continuity of care. Our experienced team are empowered to drive direct communication with carers, coordinators, and organisations (eg. Clinical Governance meetings) and to provide ongoing coordinator support for complex issues.
Sovereign is a trusted industry leader in providing solutions for compliance, clinical governance, business growth, and high-quality service delivery. We partner with, advise and provide staff training for care providers and organisations to deliver sustainable care practices that enable scalable and enduring improvements in clinical care.
